Remembering the Past: It was about 9 years ago, that I was considering becoming a Taoist Nun at the Purple Cloud Wudang mountain monastery in China... I even sended an application... I also considered being a Buddhist Nun in Tibet, or Saddhu in India... wondering how it all have turned out if I had taken that final step... JUST ANOTHER POEM...

I stopped believing in miracles the day a baby Hummingbird died in my hand,

nothing I could do to save his precious life...

It was a reminder of the passing nature of body-mind.

What is Important ?

To "be this'' , to "become that"...

Ja! I can only pretend and play the game of life:

To grab with fingers, to laugh and cry,

to walk here and there or maybe drive...

to say "Hi" to passing shadows, dance in the corner of a dark room,

leave an open book to read another day and sleep to escape into a dream, watching from above the empty space.
