anjani siddhartha medals
ZEN: ‘The art of winning without fighting.’ even being injured and unable to train for a few weeks I entered the BJJ tour California competition today, the Gold medal god's smile upon me and I was alone in my weight/age class. : )
It is been around a year since starting my journey in Gracie/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
and it is been a wonderful journey of self-discovery, meeting the best ones in the sport, specially Master Rickson Gracie, and many more wonderful people.
With my prior experience in Tai chi, Shaolin and Wrestling ( I was a State Champ back in Colombia over 30 years ago ! ) I have been doing better than expected , but it is not just about winning or losing over an opponent, but being in the HERE-NOW and achieving a state of No-Mind, mushin no shin, as the Japanese Zen masters called. That is my real purpose.
